The KOSAIDO Golf Academy offers golf instruction for our members and guests. Our instructors are experienced PGA professionals that focus on the individual's goals and ability level, while always adhering to the proper fundamentals of golf.

Beginner To Winner Membership
As the name indicates, The Beginner to Winner Membership in Kosaido Golf Club offers a complete Package for the greenhorn.
Last year 25 beginners took on this membership and enjoyed a successful start in golf. Our offer is very competitive.
The membership includes the following;
1. Introduction Course over 12 hours
2. A DGV Certification Course over 12 hours
3. A complete golf-set and bag for you to keep
4. 50 Range Tokens (about 2,000 balls) for practice in value of 200€
5. 50€ voucher to use in our restaurant
6. Playing rights upon successfully completion of the course and attainment of the DGV certificate within a period of 9 months.

Theoretical and Practical Tests

Length of Course 12 hours
The DGV certification is the first step in getting started. The 12-hour course takes you through the rules of the game. After the 12 hours, a written exam will be taken. We recommend participating in an introductory course before signing up for a DGV certification course.
Kids & Youth Training
The Kids & Youth training are filled with a lot of determination, supervision and success. On Sundays, we offer instruction for kids and youth between 11:30am and 1:30pm. If you would like to give it a try, please contact at the Pro shop. We look forward to hearing from you.

Our successful school project is heading into the next round.
The Kosaido International Golf club Düsseldorf is participating in the successful project Tee Off. In cooperation with the German DGV, Kosaido Golfschulesport is promoting kids ages 3-13 the game of golf.
Gary John Warner
Born on 10.12.1961 in London, Gary start playing golf at the age of 14. Within 6 weeks, he achieved a handicap of 19. This was the beginning of his golf experience. In 1978, he finished his training at the well-known Golf club Moor Park Rickmansworth Herefordshire in England. Following a year at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club in Ireland, Gary moved to Linz, Austria to work as a teaching professional at the St. Florian Golf Club.
From 1985 to 1992, he worked as the Head Professional at Erding Grünbach e.V. Golf Club in Münich. In 1992, he stayed in the area by moving to Ebersberg Golf Club. In 1996, he was looking for a new challenge. Gary decided to take the big step and headed to the Portuguese Algrave. There he was working as a PGA instructor at Parque da Floresta Golf and Leiseure Resort’s golf academy. Other responsibilities included coordinating for the very romantic Hotel Vivenda Mirandas in Lagos, where he still works very closely with. Since March 2006, Gary has
been working for Kosaido International Golf Club Düsseldorf. Gary Warner is a member of the PGA of England and Germany. He as also co-authored the 1992 published book “What is being played here?”
